The Bone Shield is one of the best types of normal shield, rivaled by the Gothic Shield. It is the best light normal quality shield in terms of defense. Availability, however, is as early as Act II, and the Strength requirement is decent for its protection. Sadly, its socket limit destroys the possibilities of some good Runewords.
