Eri Sawachika is one of the main characters. While initially slated for a supporting role in the story, Sawachika Eri's unpredictable relationship with Kenji Harima has drawn the two of them into the spotlight as the primary protagonists in School Rumble. Eri makes her debut appearance in chapter #7 of the manga (Episode #1 in the anime). Her picture appears on the cover of Volume 3 (Harima appears in SD form on the rear cover), and the cover of Volume 16 (in SD form next to Harima). She is also the featured character of the third image album.
