The 2nd Canadian Division (2 Can Div), is responsible for Canadian Army operations in the Canadian province of Quebec. The 2nd Canadian Division is headquartered in Montreal. The present command was formed in 1991, and in 2013 the name was changed from Land Force Quebec Area to 2nd Canadian Division. The division draws its historical lineage from formations that existed during the First and Second World Wars.
