Omuru Abimbola is the current President of Oluwa. He came to power in December 2008, after the declared independence of Oluwa, and winning the presidential election with a majority in the first round on the 12th, with him being currently elected for a six-year term. Abimbola ran as an Independent with a moderate platform which espoused national unity and friendly foreign relations, especially as a member-state of VE.
