Equipping the Drift Tyres modification allows the player to easily slide a vehicle and also improve control whilst performing a long slide such as a drift. The professional Drift Tyres modification emits coloured tyre smoke. This colour is determined by the player's arrow colour in multiplayer but is assigned randomly in single player.
