Danta Pela was an Otolla Gungan who incidentally played a major part in Galactic events. He was a goffbird pilot and was a General in the Gungan Grand Army commanding a squadron of flyers. Pela facilitated an alliance between his people and the Naboo at the request of Queen Nalanda, he later was a Junior Representative in the Galactic Senate under her when Nalanda became Senator and succeeded her as Senator of Naboo after her death in 22 BBY.
