The Goldilocks zone planet (named after the term "goldilocks zone") is a planet in the same unnamed solar system as "Big Bertha". As the Ancient ship, Destiny, was on course to collide with a nearby Star, a shuttle with 15 passengers, piloted by Lt. Matthew Scott, was sent to the planet with the hope of survival. However, as the shuttle approached "Goldilocks", it was discovered that there was very little carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and that the temperature rarely rose above 0 degrees centigrade. Therefore there would be little vegetation on the planet, and survival would be difficult.
