The Prime Minister of Québec (French: Premier ministre du Québec) is the head of government of Québec. The Prime Minister must be a member of the National Assembly, and to remain Prime Minister, must have the confidence of the National Assembly. The Prime Minister is appointed by the President of Québec. The President also appoints the Cabinet, but the picks are always made by the Prime Minister. The current Prime Minister is Bénédicte Daphné.
