Thartitism is the ancient religion of the Zuman people and most Kaenirelona tribes. It has about 4 million members, most of them in the regions of Tirkalara, Bandorra and Dugathan. Since 1345, it was considered very chic in the Valruzian upper class to be the Sacrosanct High Priest of a thartitistic deity. Zhikep III, one of the ancient Zuman kings, himself was said to be not only a member of this belief, but the Sacrosanct High Priest of Thartiti, the snakelike head of gods, and therefore the patriarch of Thartitism itself. But those rumors proved wrong, when in actuality it was his successor, Zhikep IV. The religion fell out of favor over time, and it was reduced to a cult gathering by the 27th century.
