Prefid's Belt was a constellation visible in the skies of Fedje. It included the main star of the Prefsbelt system, which earned its name from a corruption of the original name of the constellation. Prefid's Belt was the refuge of Republic citizens fleeing the theocratic Pius Dea-controlled Republic in the 11,600s BBY, which led to the settlement of Prefsbelt IV.
