Carine Bijlsma (16 february 1983) is a dutch documentary film maker and photographer. After high school she studied photography in New York, Florence and Amsterdam. She then went to the NFTA film academy where she graduated in 2008. She has won several awards with her films such as the wildcard, the prince bernard documentary film and an honorably mention at the DOXA Festival. FILMS She is the daughter of cellist Anner Bijlsma and violinist Vera Beths and the sister of actrice Katja Herbers.
