CT-6952, nicknamed Matrix, was a Kashyyyk trooper in the Galactic Republic's Grand Army of the Republic unit 88th Mechanized Infantry Group. He served on various fronts during the Clone Wars, and befriended fellow Kashyyyk trooper officer CT-2217. He fought in the Battle of Kashyyyk, and later was sent to Tatooine with the rest of the 88th to aid Jedi Knight Eos and the 72nd Combat Corps. During Order 66, him and 2217 were patrolling with Eos, and when they got Order 66, 2217 was going to kill him but Matrix tried to convince him not to. In the end, 2217 killed Matrix for being a traitor, and then killed the Jedi.
