Tasks are given by Sims all over the kingdom. As you complete tasks, King Roland's favor to you as the new Royal Wandolier will go up, Sims will become happier, and the kingdom will become closer to being restored to its former glory. Tasks can involve talking to a Sim, herding, socializing, completing a Scroll, finding a certain quantity of an essence or some other sort of item, opening a gate, powering some sort of item (such as an electric guitar), watering some plants with water pipes, or satisfying the Interests the Sim requests in a particular lot, area, or building on the island.
