This t-Virus outbreak was caused by a number of contributing factors. One of which was the Nautilus and her Torpedo Kid offspring running wild throughout the water areas. Another was the escape of the prisoner "Alpha". The random mutation and subsequent breeding of "Glimmers" was a third factor. Overall, the safety and security of the facility was almost non-existent. By the time Bruce McGivern and Fong Ling arrived at the facility, the entire remaining staff had become flesh-hungry Zombies. The outbreak was halted when the facility was destroyed.
