Silva went up against Ben Harmon in the title match of the Professional Reality Fighting Championship, held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Before the fights began, Silva and his trainer Ramon Machado visited Mark Kendall in the training room. Translating for Silva, Machado said the veteran fighter wanted to wish him luck, but then, laughing, clarified that it was only because he'd rather fight Kendall than his opponent, Jack Webb.
