Atarik Starrider was a Mandalorian bounty hunter at the time of the Cold War. He was born on Mandalore to two famous bounty hunters. He grew up on his father's tales of hunts that took months, and his mother's tales of gunfights that lasted half a day. At some point in time, his parents lost a rigged bounty hunting competition and they were stripped of their Mandalorian status. Atarik retained his, since he did not participate, but refused to leave his family and was thus considered dar'Manda, if not officially. With his parents later incapacitated by a virus, Atarik set out to hunt the galaxies most dangerous targets to restore his family's honor and make them Mandalorians once more.
