The Assault on the Jedi Temple happened on 3/2/46 just after the end of the Galaxial War. The Jedi had just captured General Cracken from Bothawui, an action opposed by the rest of the Galactic Alliance who had made him a hero despite his brutal sacrificial tactics against the Ni'novian Empire. After failed negotiations with the Jedi Council, Chief of State Adrian Ompho ordered Viper and several of the Alliance's best infantry groups to attack the Jedi Temple.
