Mbuni is a female ostrich. When Bunga becomes a self-proclaimed sage, Mbuni seeks advice from him. Bunga foolishly tells her to hide from hyenas by sticking her head in the ground, and the rest of the Lion Guard comes to her aid when she gets stuck.
