Actor Sean Wilton has played two minor roles on Coronation Street: firstly as an unnamed Doctor who was due to perform Ashley Peacock's vasectomy in July 2009; returning to the programme in December 2010 as DS Miller - who questioned Nick Tilsley when a gas explosion destroyed his newly-opened bar, The Joinery. Appearances in school productions led to the Maidenhead Youth Theatre, and from there attended the Guildford School of Acting between 1984 and 1987, gaining his acting diploma.
