Maynian ale was the main alcoholic beverage of Maynus because it contained no imported water. It contained the Wealoof leaf and Maynian water which contained certain pollution which made the drink become disorienting in small doses. Maynian ale was very dangerous if the drinker was to get addicted since too much of the water caused an uncontrollable Vandoid outbreak, or death.
