The Northern Plains is a strip of land that lies to the north of Camelot. It was where Gorlois fought while Vivienne had the affair with Uther (The Crystal Cave). It comes up again in the first two episodes of Series 5. Morgana was summoning an army and trying to look for the key to all knowledge. She was stopped by Arthur and his knights and later fled the Northern Plains.
