Despite being around for millions of years, Cebus were not discovered until 1997 by Larry the Cucumber during his travels in South America to find the lost Buscuit of Zazzamarandabo. Larry was on his own since he had abandoned his crew to be eaten by natives, so he decided to use the newly discovered species to row his boat for him. When Larry returned, Bob the Tomato saw potential in these cow-like creatures and sent capture parties to bring back the entire population of Cebus. He sold Sad and Mute Cebus on the black market, but he kept the Sick Cebus as part of a plan to spread diseases.
