The Special Threats Division was a department of the New Republic Intelligence Service. It was tasked with gathering intelligence on and dealing with unusual threats to the New Republic. The command element for the Special Threats division on Coruscant was codenamed Aerie Command. After the Corellian Crisis, Belindi Kalenda was placed in charge of the Operations Branch within the Special Threats Division.
