The Denon-born were a large clade of Near-human species, potentially reaching into the hundreds. They were principally the result of extensive genetic and Force-manipulation undertaken by the Rakata on the planet Denon during the Infinite Empire's rule. These species left Denon following the Taung Revolt and most underwent significant further evolution on their adopted homeworlds before reaching their modern forms. The existence of Denon-born species was lost to history after the fall of the Infinite Empire and was only partly rediscovered twenty-five thousand years later.
