Dickus the Third is the Dictator of Dicksy Land. In person he is a pleasant-looking thin young man. He has a white horse, and a three-cornered hat with golden feathers. The first time he is defied — by the visiting Dorothy Gale, Cowardly Lion, and Patchwork Girl — he finds it quite refreshing; he longs to prove he is a "real Dictator" by crushing a revolt, and his subjects the Dicks are innately unrevolutionary. (Ojo in Oz) Dickus's main minion is Reachard, his right hand man.
