The Other is the leader of the Chitauri, a race of aliens, and serves as a antagonist in The Avengers, alongside his ally, Loki, and his master, Thanos. He reappeared in Guardians of the Galaxy as a minor antagonist in the film but gets killed by Ronan after Ronan wanted to shut him up.
