The Tolic Nebula is a nebula located near Federation space. The nebula was first discovered by the unmanned Derwent Probe on Stardate 7715. On Stardate 9711, the USS Valkyrie picked up a distress call coming from the vicinity of the nebula. While investigating this, the ship lost power due to the effects of an energy dampening field originating from a planet within the nebula.
