Apollo Mercury was a human journalist in the late 24th century and early 25th century. A former Starfleet officer, he was the host of The Apollo Mercury Show, a popular subspace broadcast program, focusing on political commentary. In the year 2400, he traveled to Starbase 185 to do a story on the base's continuing mission in the Typhon Expanse. (Typhon Station RPG) Apollo Mercury was created and played by Dave Hartsfield in the Typhon Station game. The character was loosely based on radio personalities like Rush Limbaugh.
