Gotcha questions are questions used to trip up a witness during a trial or deposition. Television pundits use them to trap Americans into saying things they really don't believe. The real reason gotcha questions are Satanic, is due to their reliance on an answer based on facts. Most questions asked during televised interviews can be answered in such a way as to come back to the answeree's preferred agenda.
