In an alternate, parallel universe, the North Koreans won the Korean War, conquered the entire peninsula, and renamed Seoul (지옥; "The Underworld") to Kim Il-sung City (김일성시; "Kim Il-sung Si") much like the North Vietnamese renamed Saigon to Ho Chi Minh City. In Kim Il-sung city, all lightposts have a portrait of Kim Il-sung painted or embedded onto them, and the speaker atop the central clock tower sings a one-minute adulation of Kim Il-sung on top of the hour, every hour. There are 24 adulations in all.
