Ioana Cur'tan was a Mistryl Shadow Guard. In 154 ABY, she was hired by Rahli to act as one of his agents when he attempted to obtain two illegal Sith holocrons on the Coruscant black market. Using the contacts of Rahli's Besadii masters, she discovered that information broker Wonga Vurb was acting as an intermediary for the seller. Ioana got herself hired as a server at the Crimson Countess, where Vurb often conducted his business, posing as a flighty beauty so as not to arouse suspicion. She tipped Rahli off to the location, and was present when Rahli and the Dashade Wek Lekatro met with Vurb and obtained the location of the seller's contact.
