Given how round 1 went, it was a fair guess that the RE5 guys had a good shot at the MGS3 pair, especially given that The Boss is just weak. Unfortunately this was the Rivalry Rumble, aka the worst contest ever so something fun happening was out of the question. The match was reasonably close in percentages, but RE5 never threatened and then you look up how Waluigi's round 1 win was closer than this. And no, I will not get over that stat because it's the perfect microcosm of the Rivalry Rumble.
