The Conclave on New Holstice was intended to address the following issues with Jedi in the galaxy: * Emotions * Past aggressions * Pride * Title envy * Egos * Lack of unity * Disregard for other enclaves * Disrepectful actions * Non-Jedi-like behaviors None of these were solved and the conclave was deemed a failure by its host, Master Marcus.
