Hal Mitchell's Castle in the Clouds was a Corleone family-owned casino at Lake Tahoe. The casino was financed from the pension fund of the Hollywood unions, which were controlled by Frank Falcone, the Don of Los Angeles. The day-to-day operations were run by Hal Mitchell and Johnny Fontane, who owned twenty percent of the casino.
