Hotshot was one of the many Autobots who fought in most of the battles, and also survived. In a battle with Jazzimus and Megatron, he was badly damaged due to all of the bombs exploding around him, and the Seekers slashing all over. Jazzimus saw the young warrior, and picked him up, carrying him on his shoulder, and kept on fighting Megs. Hotshot saw one of his lifetime rivals, Executor, and asked Jazzimus to put him back down, which he did. Hotshot and Executor had a lengthy-ass fight, which ended with Executor dying to Hotshot's shield being pressed against Executor's side one last time. The battle ended with Jazzimus and the other Autobots leaving in victory as some Decepticons stayed on the battlefield, and died slowly, while others took to the sky and retreated.
