Bomodon was located in the Bomodon system of the Mid Rim. It was home to the Bomodon. In 3673 BBY, during the Great Galactic War between the resurgent Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, Lieutenant Elin Garza and her platoon from the 45th Infantry Division were shot down over Bomodon. With the help of the Republic Strategic Information Service agent named Marcus Trant on the surface, Garza would lead her troops on a ten-month guerrilla campaign to successfully liberate the planet from the Empire.
