Although the Jaghut were a peaceful race, every so often one of them would break from this mould. These individuals were known as Jaghut Tyrants for their cruel use of other races as slaves. The Imass were tricked into believing one of these Tyrants was a god, leading them to worship him. When it was discovered that he was not, in fact, a god, the Imass were so incensed they began their crusade to rid the world of all Jaghut in order to prevent the arising of another Jaghut Tyrant.
