The USS Dauntless (NCC-74912) was a light cruiser starship of the Intrepid-class built by the Federation Starfleet, in the late 24th century. The Dauntless was launched from Beta Antares Fleet Yards in May 2373. Captain Timothy Barranco served as her commanding officer from 2373 to 2380. Crewman Jason Bartholomew was a junior engineering officer aboard the Dauntless from her launch until the end of the Federation Civil War.
