The Covenant Serpent was first seen used by the Covenant Remnants in 2589. It is a heavily shielded but lightly armored troop transport. It uses antigravity pulses to move at incredible speed, considering the weight that it usually carries. The transport can hold approximately 6 Covenant Hunter pairs or 12 Covenant Elites. The most effective defense and offense against these vehicles are EMP bursts, such as the UNSC Gremlin's.
