Rin takes an interest in Tidus's study of the Al Bhed language, at one point offering him an Al Bhed Primer if Tidus tells him his studies are going well. Once Tidus has found all 26 primers and mastered Al Bhed, Rin will be so pleased he can finally hold a conversation with Tidus in Al Bhed that he will reward him with 99 Underdog's Secrets.
