Heirs of Blood is the first Campaign Book for Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition), which presents the players with a brand new campaign for the Core Set. This book is sold separately as a hardcover book, and is also included in two paperback booklets in newer versions of the base game, replacing The Shadow Rune campaign. It was first announced on 20. November 2014, and released on 23. April 2015.
