Sheanna Mitchell is heard in The Oceanic Six: A Conspiracy of Lies. She states that, the day before the crash, she met Kate while she was in the custody of a U.S. Marshal because they needed to keep her in the airport jail for the night. Sheanna was the only female worker on duty, so she examined Kate upon her arrival. Based on this, she states that Kate could not possibly have been six months pregnant at the time of the crash, which was the official story given by the Oceanic 6. She provided this information on a radio interview shortly after the rescued. One month later, she retracted her statement under mysterious circumstances, simply stating that she was not a doctor, and therefore, was not qualified to make such a claim.
