Hawk's Wall, Hawksmouth city walls and last line of defence, has named the areas just outside the city gates down to Hawk's Landing, the shardship harbour. Even though the roads from Hawksmouth down to the docks are heavily guarded, there are still many reports of bandit attacks, especially on lonely unarmed travellers. To travel through the wilderness unarmed is definitely not recommended. Generally the whole area is called Hawks Landing.
