The Regulars are the ones who handle the defense of all Muir Commonwealth planets. The Regulars of the MCMS are recruited among the general population, though it is noted that volunteers are always accepted. After going through a planned out six-month training regimen, those selected are then deployed to whatever units are in need at the moment, though MCMS makes it a point not to assign troopers to their home planet.
