Plo Koon was a Kel Dor male from the planet Dorin who became a Jedi Master and a member of the Jedi High Council. Koon manged to escape the Great Jedi Purge with his apprentice Ahsoka Tano by going into hiding on the planet Telos IV until 5 ABY (a year after the defeat of Darth Sidious and the death of Darth Vader) when they returned to Coruscant to aide Luke Skywalker in the restoration of the Jedi Order. After his psychical death, Koon would often appear to Luke has a Force ghost aiding the Jedi Master in the difficult times that lay ahead.
