Darth Callidus, born Keran Shan, was born in 42 BBY on the planet Alderaan and was born as grandson to a unity of two great Force sensitive family lines: the Sith family line of Kallig and the Jedi family line of Shan. He was taken from his mother at the young age of six in 36 BBY and taken as a Padawan learner under Jedi Master Vergere, who had sensed his immense potential and prodigious capabilities in the Force, foreseeing a great destiny of the young Force sensitive and began teaching him the basics of her belief in the Potentium.
