On the 2nd of December, 2012, Microwikia got hacked by an unknown force. The hacker lifted protections on the main page and spammed it with multiple swear words as well as a heading reading '(...) join Microwiki.org.uk'. The Hacker also spammed many other pages, changing them to insults containing profanity as well as random Wikipedia articles.
