Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals has a much different mineral system as compared to its predecessor. Instead of boosting the stats of a Spectrobe, you boost the Minergy amount. The mineral types are also different, each one providing more Minergy for a particular property of Spectrobe. The basic types are Coronium, Aurorium, Flashium, and Dark Minerals. As logic implies, Dark Minerals are more effective when used on Dark Spectrobes, and the following is also true for the other 3 types.
