Samuel Jarn was the son of Haveer Jarn and Nataska Vergulva. Deciding to go into politics from a young age, Samuel was considered liberal and idealistic, and pressured for democratic reform in the United Coalition of Worlds. Owing to the influence of his bloodline, he managed to introduce several new bills to increase liberty in the UCW prior to the Unification Wars. Following the wars, he was one of the founding fathers of the Galactic Republic, and helped write up the Galactic Constitution. He was also a very distant ancestor of Han Solo.
