The third fragment in Tatters of the King was first published in The Hastur Cycle in 1993. In it, Lin Carter rewrites part of Blish's King In Yellow from More Light into a different verse form, making it more poetic and flowery (he also splits Act 1 into the two scenes it should have and moves Cassilda's Song to the start of Act 1, Scene 2).
